Alessia Cara’s “Wild Things” was already a defiant anthem capable of rebel rousing on its own. But for a new, remixed version of the Know-It-All cut, Cara has hiked up the feistiness by recruiting buzzy Bay Area rapper G-Eazy.

The MC kicks off the track with a lackadaisical laugh (does he think he’s Jay Z or something?) before returning later for a cool, confident verse of his own. “So don’t get it mixed up/ It’s been my story, it’s never switched up/ And I never kissed up,” he raps, touting his own self-assuredness alongside Cara’s original declaration of independence. Consider this your remixed reminder that being a misfit can still be fun as hell.

Cara and Eazy’s remix is expected to appear on her forthcoming Wild Things (The Remixes) EP, the follow-up to Here (The Remixes), which dropped in April and featured Logic and Jaden Smith.
