Let Chloë Grace Moretz Explain Her Decision To Call Out Kim Kardashian

Ok, sis

Chloë Grace Moretz has been popping up a lot lately, whether on a magazine or on Twitter feuding with Kim Kardashian. Most recently, it's another cover. This time for the June issue of Glamour -- and yes, Chloë discusses that now-infamous Twitter spat.

Chloë certainly tries to defend her decision to call out Kim K's naked picture, but she doesn't exactly remedy the situation.

"I had just gotten off a plane from South Korea, I was incredibly jet-lagged, and I couldn’t take one more thing," she told the mag. "I saw that photo, and I had to say something. That picture wasn’t linked to body confidence. It wasn’t a #BodyConfidence or #LoveWhoYouAre. It was done in a slightly voyeuristic light, which I felt was a little inappropriate for young women to see... I would hate for young women to feel they need to post certain photos in order to gain likes, retweets, favorites, and male attention... I wasn’t slut-shaming. It’s not about body shaming."

She then went on to explain her intentions when posting photos of her own body on social media, saying, "I do it because it’s a body-confidence thing. I posted one in Mexico. I felt good, and I was wearing a bikini on a beach. It wasn’t me sexualizing myself. It was with a beautiful background."

So, it's OK to show off your body when the background is pretty? Because if that's the case, this is like, a really nice bathroom.
