Like all other humans with two ears and a heart, Adele was struck with Beyoncé fever when Lemonade dropped on April 23. In fact, she was so verklempt that she’s only now able to properly express her opinion. In a nutshell? She’s a way bigger Beyoncé fan than you’ll probably ever be.

“I'm not late on this I've just been speechless,” Adele wrote on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of her hugging a giant Beyoncé poster.

“Beyoncé is the most inspiring person I've ever had the pleasure of worshipping,” Adele continued. “Her talent, beauty, grace and work ethic are all in a league of their own. I appreciate you so much! Thank god for Beyoncé.”

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of Adele’s undying devotion to her idol. After some people foolishly thought she turned down a collaboration with Beyoncé last year, Adele made it clear she was “Queen Bey to the day I die.” She further clarified in an interview with Time last year, “Whoever started that rumor must have been having a laugh, because anyone who knows me knows that my main priority in life outside of my child is Beyoncé.”
