Considering she wore a light-up dress to the show in 2010, Katy Perry had a lot to live up to for this year's Manus x Machina Met Gala theme. Unsurprisingly, she delivered in a big way.

Katy wore a black-and-gold gown, complete with elbow-length leather gloves. Katy said goodbye to her brows for the event, but hello to a huge bun and some very slick bangs.

The best part of her look, though, is more subtle.

It's a Tamagotchi!!! That she attached to her Prada belt!!! It's just dangling there, just hanging out.

Another perk of accessorizing with a Tamagotchi? You'll never be bored. I bet Katy had already thought of that, though.
