Long before Rihanna and Drake's "Work" reigned supreme as the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 for more than two months, it was an inkling of what it would one day become, a collaboration that Rihanna was yet to touch. Now, we've got a taste of that early iteration of the track.

It comes from Partynextdoor, who cowrote the song and, here, is singing what would become Rihanna's part. Also on the track is Party's OVO label boss, Drake, who raps a similar verse to the one we hear on the final version, with a few lines tweaked here and there.
