American Idol came to an end last night (April 7), but not before its original winner serenaded the audience with a medley of her hits.

A pregnant Kelly Clarkson took the stage to remind everyone just why she was so deserving of that original win on Idol’s first season back in 2002.

From “Miss Independent” to “Since U Been Gone” to “Heartbeat Song,” Clarkson belted a seamless string of her mega-hits during last night’s star-studded show. She ended, of course, with “A Moment Like This,” her debut hit following Idol’s first season.

Talk about going out with a bang.

After the show was over, Clarkson tweeted a video of her daughter River Rose saying goodbye to the series.

I guess that means it's really, truly over.
