Forget about a second "Top Gun" movie, and start thinking about a third...a third dimension, that is.

Yes, the 1986 classic Tom Cruise action vehicle will be coming to IMAX screens near you in eye-popping 3-D for a limited time in February 2013. The long-rumored big screen re-release of film's most iconic male volleyball-playing sequence (as well as the other 105-ish minutes of the movie) will begin Feb. 8, for just six days.

If you can't make it to an IMAX, however, fear not! You can still get your freshly-remastered fill of good-looking guys in Air Force uniforms! Come Feb. 19, Paramount will release the film on Blu-ray, in both 3-D and 2-D formats, for your at-home viewing pleasure.

So cue up "Danger Zone" and hold tight for a few weeks. February (and Goose, sob) will be here before you know it.
