Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves Make It Official

After six years together (which is already an achievement by Hollywood standards) and two kids, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have finally made it official. The longtime couple tied the knot Saturday evening in a small ceremony on McConaughey's sprawling Texas property.

"Magic Mike" star McConaughey, 42, and Alves, 29, have been engaged since Christmas Day — meaning that even though they've been together for quite some time, they actually had a relatively short engagement. Guess they felt when the time is right, it's right.

They married before close family and friends, and of course, their two children, Levi, who's nearly 4, and Vida, 2 ½. (Hey, that ½ matters when you're still in the single digits!) According to People, Alves even took her groom's last name, and is officially now Camila McConaughey.

After the ceremony, we assume there was dinner and dancing and all that good stuff, but the detail that struck us most is that guests stayed in dozens of tents that McConaughey pitched on his property for the occasion.

Now, we get that he's got that whole outdoorsy thing going on, and we're sure they were very nice tents, as far as tents go, but… really? Tents? We suppose when it's your big day you can make your guests sleep wherever you like, but the thought of their A-list friends essentially camping out all night did put a smile on our face.

Congrats to the happy couple!
