Next Factor: 'Killer Elite' Star Yvonne Strahovski

Yvonne Strahovski is one of those girl-next-door beauties who's also surprisingly tough, as evidenced by her butt-kicking performance in NBC's spy comedy "Chuck." Her  prime-time portrayal of a CIA operative is funny and  fierce, making her irresistible to male and female fans alike.

The 29-year-old Aussie, whom her devotees call "Strahotski," is breaking into feature films with a supporting role in the testosterone-fueled "Killer Elite." Starring opposite a trio of formidable actors -- Robert De Niro, Clive Owen and Jason Statham -- Strahovski proves she's more than ready to take her charm from television to theatrical projects.

Age: 29

Hometown: Sydney, Australia

What She's Done: The Aussie stunner's breakout role came in 2007 as super spy Sarah Walker, who handles and then falls for a computer-repairman-turned-secret agent (Zachary Levi) on the much-loved "Chuck." Strahovski also showed off her snarky side  in this hilarious (but NSFW) video that pokes fun at Katy Perry, Ke$ha and Lady Gaga.

What She's Doing Now: In first-time director Gary McKendry's spy thriller "Killer Elite," Strahovski plays Anne, a no-nonsense Australian country girl who falls for Danny (Jason Statham), a former special-ops agent. But Danny must come out of retirement for a mission to kill three government assassins (led by Clive Owen) before they take out his beloved mentor and friend, Robert De Niro. "Killer Elite" is Strahovski's first theatrical role.

Reminds Us of: She's tall, beautiful, but decidedly badass (not to mention foreign with a pitch-perfect American accent), so we can't help but think of her as a slightly younger Charlize Theron. She's got the comedy chops of the gorgeous Portia de Rossi, another leggy blonde from Down Under. And with her ability to swing from vulnerable to fierce -- and an uncanny resemblance even her diehard fans have noticed -- Strahovski could be Julia Stiles' glammed-up twin.

Fun Facts: Strahovski is a first-generation Australian. Her parents moved there from Warsaw, Poland, and Strahovksi (who changed her last name from Strzechowski to make it easier to pronounce) is fluent in Polish, a language she's used in a couple of memorable "Chuck" episodes.

Quotable: "I just knocked on his trailer door and there he was! I felt like a kid in a candy store; I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face," she told Maxim about meeting her costar "Bobby" De Niro.

"I’m not really big on the throwing-up thing. I have a trick before it gets to that level, and that is to eat bread. If I’m feeling a little woozy, it makes everything better," Strahovski said of her hangover cure of choice.

Famous Friends: Strahovski, who's reportedly good pals with her "Chuck" colleagues Zachary Levi and Joshua Gomez, has been dating Aussie actor Tim Loden since 2009.

What's Next: In addition to the fifth and final season of  "Chuck," which returns to NBC on Friday, Oct. 21,  Strahovski plays Seth Rogen's ex-girlfriend in the upcoming comedy "My Mother's Curse," starring Rogen and Barbra Streisand. She also voices a character in the animated adventure "The Outback."
