Next Factor: 'Big Happy Family' Star Lauren London

Lauren London isn't just another pretty face—though she certainly does have one. Over the last five years, the doe-eyed beauty has been building up an impressive resume that includes everything from hit TV shows like "90210" and "Entourage," to big-screen teen fare like the coming-of-age dramedy "ATL" and the sugary rom-com "I Love You, Beth Cooper."

And if there were any lingering questions as to whether she has arrived in the big leagues, they no doubt get put to rest with her appearance in Tyler Perry's latest flick, "Madea's Big Happy Family."

What excited London most about landing this role with Perry, besides the chance to work with the man himself? ("It was really inspiring watching someone wearing so many hats and pulling it off," she says.) Getting to play a bit of a "mean girl" behind that warm smile for once, of course. "Oh my gosh, she is such a character," London laughs.

Here's the scoop on how this 26-year-old L.A. native got her start, and where she plans to go from here.

What was your first acting job?

Well my first acting job—I used to do commercials and I had done a couple music videos—but my first job job was "ATL" with T.I. I auditioned for that like five times. I didn't have an agent. And then, from there, my life changed.

So this was something that you always really wanted to do—it wasn't like someone picked you up in a shopping mall and you were "discovered."

No, no, no! It's all I know. I've always been a performer. That's just what I know.

Who are some of your biggest acting inspirations?

I love Barbra Streisand. Anybody who knows me knows I just love her, love her, love her! I also love Meryl Streep, Loretta Divine and Angela Bassett.

And what would you be doing if you weren't acting?

I really never thought about anything else as an option. I was actually just telling a friend of mine, "What would I be doing?" I really don't know.

But, you know what, I like production work. I would probably be doing production work, like production coordinating or producing.

What did you buy when you got your first Hollywood paycheck?

A car! I bought a BMW. I used to have this light blue Explorer that, when it got too hot, would make this really loud sound and then just shut off. It was my car since high school—so the first thing I bought was a BMW. It was very exciting when I got it. I loved that car.

Who would be your dream love interest on-screen?

Hmm… Johnny Depp!

What is your dream role?

I would love to play Janis Gaye in the Marvin Gaye story. If they ever do the Marvin Gaye story, I would love to play Janis—just throwing that out there [laughs].

Do people recognize you on the street?

Yeah, some people do. I get marriage proposals a lot [laughs].

Mac or PC?

Mac.

"King's Speech" or "Social Network?"

"King's Speech." I loved the camera angles and the monologues in that film. It was really, really great.

"Potter" or "Twilight?"

Twilight.

Rock or Rap?

Rap.

Beer or Wine?

Wine.

NY or LA?

LA.

Twitter or Facebook?

Twitter.

Bieber or Timberlake?

Timberlake. Hello!
