Sure, the release of new "Formation" merch from Beyoncé is exciting, but even more exciting than the shirts, hats, and bags themselves is who she got to model them — Jillian Mercado, a model with muscular dystrophy.

Mercado is an IMG model who has starred in campaigns for Nordstrom and Diesel, but getting to wear Beyoncé merch before anyone else even knows it exists is an entirely different ball game.

Mercado is front and center on Bey's online store wearing an "I Twirl On Them Haters" sweatshirt. Keep on twirling on 'em, girl and — please! — keep on proving that models don't have to fit a certain mold to be successful. We can't wait to see what's next.
