Last night I watched the E! True Hollywood story about Giuliana Rancic. Former E! president Ted Harbert was so impressed by then-newlyweds Bill and Giuliana five years ago that he offered them a reality show. The couple worried about being too "boring" for TV, with no scandal or table-flipping in their everyday lives.

Of course, Giuliana & Bill has since become a poster-show for couples struggling with infertility. Last year, they faced yet another obstacle when Giuliana was diagnosed with breast cancer.

This morning, they appeared on NBC's Today to promote the season premiere of Giuliana & Bill tomorrow night on Style. And here is where I get to the point of this story: Bill and G are considering adoption or surrogacy as they continue Giuliana's cancer treatments. She doesn't need chemotherapy after all.

The couple also plan to throw a huge party to celebrate their upcoming 5th anniversary, including a vow renewal. The fact that these newlyweds managed to avoid the Newlyweds reality show curse is worth celebrating, indeed.
