Survivor: Nicaragua Pits Old Vs. Young

Survivor returns to CBS next season on a new night -- Wednesday -- and a new twist: Old folk versus the whipper-snappers.

"There's still life left in Survivor," CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler told TV critics in Beverly Hills Wednesday. "This is a new twist that will be entertaining."

CBS hasn't released the names of the participants yet, just a cutesy picture of them with cards covering their mugs. Still, you get some body shots.

In other news, Tassler says that Julie Chen, wife of CBS head honcho Les Moonves, will be holding down three jobs at the network now that she's slated to be on the new daily chat show The Talk.

The show centers on busy moms trying to hold down careers and their home lives and co-stars Sara Gilbert, Leah Remini, Sharon Osbourne and others.

"I don't think Les is unhappy about it," Tassler says. "But [Julie]'s on because Sara wanted her."

Is there a conservative voice on there like The View's Elizabeth Hasselbeck?

"Sharon Osbourne is really conservative," says Tassler of the wife of hard rocker Ozzy.
