The Verdict: The Ninja Turtles Get Bay-ed and Dilbert Goes Live-Action

Go Remake, Go Remake, Go

Michael Bay just signed on to produce a reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the comic-turned-cartoon that came to theaters in 1990 with a little help from Vanilla Ice.

Verdict: The last time Bay resurrected a goofy '80s kids' show, it was Transformers, which somehow became the biggest franchise in the world. So I guess this will probably work out for him, too. Next up: Michael Bay Presents Captain Planet.

"The Longer You Work Here, Diverse It Gets"

Dilbert, the 20-year-old, insanely dull comic strip about work, is headed to the big screen. Director Ken Kwapis has directed episodes of The Office, sparking rumors that John Krasinski might just take on the role. Then again, he also directed Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Verdict: So a comic strip with a magic talking dog and punch lines that revolve around making copies and dumb bosses is going live-action. Finally, 9 to 5 meets Beverly Hills Chihuahua. This will be dreadful. Don't believe me? That headline is an actual quote from the strip.Beds: 5. Baths: 3.5. Improvements: Murder-Free Since 1974.

Looking for a waterfront colonial on Long Island? For just $1.15 million, you can live in the Amityville Horror house, where a guy killed six of his family members in their sleep. The next owners were driven out by demons after being levitated in their beds, doused in foul slime, and bitten by inanimate objects. But it does have a renovated boathouse.

Verdict: Puh-leeze. In this market? I wouldn't pay more than eight-five for a murder house. Save your money, I hear Sharon Tate's old place is coming up for sale, and that's got Manson Family-caliber evil.Looks Like Jennifer Love Hewitt Will Be Whispering to the Ghost of Her Show

After being canceled by CBS last week there were signs that The Ghost Whisperer might be resurrected at ABC. The show is in its fifth season, but sliding ratings and a rumored $3 million per episode made a sixth a liability for CBS -- and apparently for ABC too, which passed on Thursday.

Verdict: The Ghost Whisperer is still on TV?
