Did she or didn't she?

That was the question for Jillian Harris during her controversial time on The Bachelor, when everyone wondered just how far the Canadian went in the sizzling hot tub tryst with Bachelor Jason Mesnick. Alas, it didn't even get her into the final round with Mr. Indecisive, who famously dumped Melissa Rycroft after the big proposal and opted for choice No. 2.

As we watch Jillian continue to make bad choices as The Bachelorette -- you can't spell Weasel without the letters W-E-S -- at least one family is cautious about Jilly's past. Kiptyn Locke's parents put the yellow tape around their hot tub during her recent visit to their Encinitas, CA home.

Hot tubs are the required accessory for almost any reality show, and The Real World has built an entire empire on hot tub hook-ups. But even scripted TV knows that spas are the perfect excuse to get down and almost naked.

True Blood, HBO

True Blood turned up the heat with Tara slipping into the tub with poached Eggs. The two threatened to send the already toasty tub into the danger zone during a diabolically dirty party thrown by the mysterious Maryann Forrester. The townsfolk's eyes turned that I'm Possessed shade of black, and the clothing became not only optional but disposable as the orgy hit high gear. A topless sorority girl decides to make the Tara-Eggs twosome into a menage a trois -- well, perhaps more if you include the demons. Tara opted to take herself out of the orgy action, with Eggs wondering how he ruined the romantic moment.

United States of Tara, Showtime

On United States of Tara, mom Tara finds 15-year-old daughter Kate making out with a man twice her age in the hotel hot tub. That seems to bring out the beast in the multiple personality machine that is Tara. The wild teen child T emerges, and T/Tara joins the action. Well, until Kate emerges as the responsible party after all.

Momma's Boys, NBC

You might think the most disturbing televised hot tub scene would come from classy reality series like Tila Tequila's A Shot At Love or Rock of Love or even Daisy of Love. But no, the one that is sure to rock every young man to his core is this past season of Momma's Boys. Mrs. B can't stand seeing her son locking tonsils with Brittany, so she does something that even the most overbearing mom might not attempt. She pops on her bathing suit and hops into the spa with her son, who is too busy getting down with his B girl to notice at first. But Mrs. B is not to be ignored. She demands his attention, and lets the boy know he's treading in dangerous waters. Although she definitely has put the chill on the hot action, eventually the game of freeze out goes to JoJo.

Little People Big World, TLC

On Little People Big World, the diminutive dad Matt was rather shocked to learn that his teen sons have been engaging in the new sport of diving for babes. While this comes as no surprise to viewers who have seen the boys in action, Matt appears to be caught unaware. There's a lot of talk, and precious little action as Matt grills the boys about exactly where they have been going while the house is being remodeled, and discovers they've been engaging in some model behavior at a friend's house -- hot tubbing with some "babes." So when does this become one of those "very special episodes?"

America's Next Top Model, The CW

Poor Marjorie, the awkward duckling who finally let her hair -- and everything else -- down during her European adventure. Twitchy Marj spent her entire time on America's Next Top Model as nervous as a cat in the dog pound. Finally, she goes to Amsterdam and feeds into her French roots. She downs considerable amounts of wine and beckons Dutch boys into her hot tub while her horrified co-models look on in disgust. Marj had gone completely out of control, which is a good thing, right? Seems after Tyra and company continued to tell her to relax, she went too far down the well and got cut. Mommas, don't let your babies grow up to be models, at least if Tyra's around to film them.

Expedition Grizzly, National Geographic

Bearing it all in a hot tub is nothing new for reality shows, but when National Geo's Casey Anderson, the sexy star of Expedition Grizzly hopped into his hot tub with his best pal Brutus, an 800-lb. grizzly, it was quite a sight. The two share a brew, but Casey's wife Missi Pyle -- Brutus served as best man at their wedding -- was no where near. Maybe we need a sequel with all bods in the spa.

Bones, Fox

The title of this Fox whodunit may refer to the forensic anthropologist, but we knew the sexual innuendos were going to start flowing on

a few seasons ago when Bones and her FBI hunk Booth worked on a case involving people who get kinky with horses. There hasn't been a lot of hot tub action, but the bathtub scene with Booth relaxing with his beer helmet has gotten a lot of cyber attention. Can a spa trip be far behind?

My Name Is Earl, NBC

Leave it to My Name Is Earl to come up with a way to bring in a hot tub. In trying to make amends for making Joy lose out on her chance to earn a hot tub (she was supposed to get it in return for being a spokesmodel, a job mucked up by Earl). So he finds a tub dumped on the side of the road, and decides to give it to Joy. Yeah, what were the chances that would lead to a nasty bacteria case. Lesson learned. Never trust a dumped hot tub.

How I Met Your Mother, CBS

Hot tubs as a metaphor for life? Leave it to the How I Met Your Mother gang. For years, Marshall has longed to make the leap from their rooftop apartment, with its kiddie pool spa, to the distant rooftop with the grownup spa. Finally, not only Marshall but the entire gang leaps over the alley way, and potential death drop, all for the love of a hot tub.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Fox

Fox hit the kill switch on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. While Dollhouse's Echo romps around like her life is one long wet T-shirt contest, John blows his hot tub opportunity. Remember when he and Riley were in Mexico and they stayed in the honeymoon suite? John fixed the hot tub so they could use it, but he never actually took the dip into the sultry waters. On the flip side, that other Fox fantasy series Dollhouse gets picked up. Dollhouse has had plenty of spa action with the Actives. Terminator dies. Coincidence? We think not.
