The Heroes team just got a little larger.

Nick D'Agosto has been cast in the NBC drama series next season, where he'll play the boyfriend of Claire (Hayden Panettiere). D'Agoso's character's name? West. (How cool is that?) And as for his power, producers are staying mum, except to say that it is a "very cool superpower." (Hmmm, is that perhaps a hint?)

D'Agosto is also joined by actor Dania Ramirez (X-Men 3: The Last Stand, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) who is set to appear in Season Two of Heroes, where she'll play the role of Maya, a recurring character with an undisclosed superhuman ability.

This past development season, D'Agosto starred opposite Marisa Tomei in the pilot for comedy The Rich Inner Life of Penelope Cloud for CBS; the year before, he starred opposite Mena Suvari in another CBS pilot, this time for drama Orpheus.

Heroes kicks off its second season this fall on NBC.
