Clarkson’s latest single “Piece By Piece” from the album of the same name just debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart. It’s only the latest in a long, long run of chart domination marked by record-breaking stunts, like when her debut single “A Moment Like This” leapt from No. 52 to No. 1 in the span of a week, smashing a record previously held by the Beatles. Clarkson would go on to break her own record in 2009 when “My Life Would Suck Without You” shot from No. 97 to No. 1 in a week.
