It's safe to say that the world loves two things: watching Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson defy the odds in movies, and seeing Zac Efron without his shirt on. By some benevolent force, we now get to witness both of those things at the same time in one glorious film: Baywatch.

Johnson and Efron are officially suited up and ready to hit the beach, as filming has commenced on the upcoming movie based on the popular '90s TV show starring David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson. The Rock took to Instagram to document his first day on set, posting a photo of him alongside his hunky co-star in their red (and blue!) swim trunks. Sadly, they were both wearing shirts ?.

"My character 'Mitch Buchannon' just gave [Zac Efron's] character 'Matt Brody' the all important beach speech about what it means to have manly 'Alpha balls,' Johnson captioned the photo.

On February 21, Johnson also shared a behind-the-scenes photo of the cast's official table read, cheering on his tanned and toned castmates. "Like a proud papa silverback, just look at this talented cool/hot #Baywatch cast," he wrote before tagging his incredibly good-looking castmates.

It should be documented that Efron, seated next to Johnson, wore a sweatshirt that appeared to read "Bae Watch." ART IMITATES LIFE.
