Kendrick Lamar Links Back Up With BJ The Chicago Kid On 'The New Cupid'

Off of BJ's new album, out later this month.

Though BJ the Chicago Kid hasn't appeared on either of Kendrick Lamar's major label albums, he's been working with the rapper for well over half-a-decade, with consistently divine results: There was "Faith," off of 2009's Kendrick Lamar EP; "R.O.T.C. (Interlude)" the following year, off of Dot's Overly Dedicated; then, in 2011, BJ gave Kendrick an assist on Section.80's "Kush & Corinthians (His Pain)"; and in 2012, they dropped "His Pain."

Now, Dot is paying it forward, with a feature on BJ's "The New Cupid," off of his upcoming album In My Mind.

The project drops on February 19, and you can stream it now in full at NPR.

Also, some advice: You should use this opportunity to revisit all of their collabs (or get familiar with them if you haven't heard them before), which you can enjoy below.
