America Ferrera And Eva Longoria Just Crushed All Your Latina Stereotypes

With respect to Rosario Dawson.

Bad news for anyone who thinks Eva Longoria and Eva Mendes are the same person: They're not.

Longoria, alongside America Ferrera, was a presenter at the 2016 Golden Globes, with the honor of announcing the winner of the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama. But before revealing the winner, they took their time on stage as an opportunity to get all of the Americas on the same page about who they are and what they're all about.

"Hi, I'm Eva Longoria — not Eva Mendes," Longoria began.

"And I'm America Ferreira," her co-presented continued, "not Gina Rodriguez" -- despite what the Golden Globes Twitter account called her back on nominations day.

The pair went on to confirm that, despite rumors to the contrary, neither one of them is Rosario Dawson, either. But they might be Salma Hayek or Charo? Don't think too much about that. Point is, you're never going to confuse Eva Longoria and America Ferrera for anyone else ever again.

The actual award went to "Mad Men" mad man Jon Hamm, by the way. Hamm, incidentally, is not Jeffrey Dean Morgan, nor is he Ben Affleck.
