Wiz Khalifa Is Probably High And Having The Best Time Ever At The Golden Globes
No one had a better time on the 2016 Golden Globes red carpet than Wiz Khalifa, looking dapper in a Thom Browne suit and a mini bottle of Moet Champagne in hand.
The 28-year-old rapper, nominated tonight (Jan. 10) for his smash-hit single with singer-songwriter Charlie Puth, "See You Again," hit the red carpet with his mother Peachie Wimbush -- and the duo quickly became our fave red carpet couple. Just look at how adorable these two are:
Khalifa, who announced that his next project, Khalifa, will drop on Jan. 22., called his first Golden Gloves experience "crazy as heck," but he's "dealing with it" in true Wiz fashion:
Before making his Golden Globes red carpet debut, Khalifa took some time for himself, to ~ relax ~ and decompress before his big night. "Gotta get high and win something," he tweeted. Peachie obviously approved -- and maybe joined in on the fun?
When asked by E! red carpet corespondent Giuliana Rancic why he thought "See You Again" resonated with so many listeners this year, Khalifa said, "It's a great song for people who are going through something and need a little motivation, and need to know that everything is going to be alright."
If Khalifa and Puth take home the Golden Globe for Best Original Song, there's no telling what that acceptance speech is going to sound like. But we hope it looks a little something like this:
And this:
Oh, and expect to see these ankles on display:
Cheers to YOU, Wiz. You keep doing you, bb.
