Olivia Munn's "farewell" to 2015 is our "hello" to Psylocke from "X-Men: Apocalypse," and, if the costume is any indication, 2016 is going to be a very good year. Munn posted an on-set pic of her in Psylocke's super tight, super latex, super appropriate-for-fighting-evil costume on her Instagram in a series of posts highlighting her favorite moments of the past year.
Bad. Ass. She also laid out what exactly Psylocke is all about.
"She's a telekinetic telepath who chooses to kill with a sword because she wants to do it up close and intimate and killing from afar just seems too easy and no fun. ?"
Again. Bad. Ass. Especially knowing all of the, ahem, lube that's involved in squeezing Munn into that getup.
All lube aside, it seems like Munn had a pretty stellar year. She took a vacation with her "smart AND gorgeous" friends, gave Jon Stewart a deserving "Daily Show" sendoff, witnessed the Aaron Rodgers Hail Mary pass of a lifetime and jumped behind the camera as executive producer. Killing it.
We can only hope our 2016 is as awesome as her 2015.
