Whether or not Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have actually moved from the friend zone onto somewhere new -- there's definitely a chance they're just trolling all of us right now -- it looks like the two longtime friends-turned-Instagram cuddlebugs spent New Year's Eve together this year and got super affectionate for the camera.

Justin and Hails, who've been hanging out a lot during his family vacation this holiday season, ushered in 2016 together in style, and it looks like there *might* have been some smooching going on. At least on Biebs' neck.

For starters, Bieber looked smashingly handsome in his party wear. Observe his sleek suit and slicked back hair 'do in his pre-party pic. Pretty irresistible, TBH.

Then, later in the night, Hailey shared a pic of herself embracing JB and planting a sweet one on the back of his neck ... right there where those angel wings have been inked, it seems.

Does that count as a New Year's countdown kiss? Debatable. But Bieber looks pretty into whatever's happening with all these 'gram games the two have been playing lately.
