When Yeezus came out a couple of weeks ago, we found an interesting gem amid Kanye’s platitudes, maxims and commandments. Much like he'd done on 2004's "All Falls Down," West decried consumerism in "New Slaves." So we decided to comb hip-hop history to find examples of how anti-consumerism has been a tenet to some rap artists over the years. This is what we found.
