For the last several weeks, Red Bull Music Academy has taken over a host of New York City venues with a slew of unique music performances and lectures. (Luminaries such as Brian Eno, Four Tet, Lee "Scratch" Perry and Q-Tip have all been on the bills). This past weekend, Red Bull flexed it's energetic muscle and rounded up a bunch of artists from forever cool New York label DFA for a "12th Anniversary" show at Brooklyn's Grand Prospect Hall, where a whopping 16 acts performed for a dance-driven crowd of 4,000. On hand was label headhoncho/former LCD Soundsystem mastermind James Murphy, YACHT, the Crystal Ark, the Juan MacLean, Prinzhorn Dance School, Shit Robot, and Factory Floor. Hive photographer Loren Wohl was on hand to capture all the action and came away with these gorgeous shots.
