LA-based label Smog Records has been instrumental in dubstep's recent North American takeover. Fronted by 12th Planet, their roster includes producers Flinch, Antiserum, Noah D and more. On the heels of the release of their Smog City compilation, the Smog records crew sent over five of their favorite mixes for bass-heavy New Years Eve.

1. Skrillex & 12th Planet b2b at Ultra Music Festival 2012

Going back to back with Skrillex during my set at Ultra is my favorite memory from 2012. The tent was rammed and I had my entire team on stage with us. -- 12th Planet

2. Sinjin Hawke, URB Mix

The Sinjin Hawke URB Magazine mix definitely summed up my favorite styles this year. Deep melodic and just enough trap to feel like a mix that will be timeless! -- Flinch

3. Bro Safari, Back To Skool Mix Volume 2

I would want to listen to a mix by Bro Safari because he is probably my favorite producer/DJ at the current moment. His most recent DJ mix was the back to school mix from four months ago but any DJ mix this guy puts together is gonna be hype! -- Antiserum

4. Richie Hawtin, Decks, EFX & 909 Mix

I would want to listen to Richie Hawtin's "Decks EFX & 909" mix. It's one of the mixes that really inspired me in my youth and I've been meaning to revisit it. It has some amazingly banging mixes in there. -SPL

5. DJ Craze, Best of 2013 Mix

Gonna have to go with one of the hottest DJ's in the game picking the next fire for 2013! Goodbye 2012! Onwards and upwards :) -- Noah D

SMOGRecords' SMOGCity Compilation is out now.
