A $2 million album is headline-worthy simply because of the staggering price, and when Wu-Tang Clan's Once Upon A Time In Shaolin fell into the hands of a supervillain, things got really dark. But good news kids, the feds might step in and save the day.

The villain here is Martin Shkreli -- the guy who hiked the price of a drug that treats HIV from $13.50 to $750 for no good reason -- and he's in trouble right now. Shkreli was recently arrested by the FBI and indicted for $65 million worth of security fraud. He might be losing that Wu album during this legal process (fingers crossed).

According to TMZ, prosecutors will file an action to seize the album if they decide that a portion of that $65 million was used to purchase it. And, even if he didn't use that money to buy it, the U.S. Marshals Office might still try to seize the album, since it's a pricey asset that they could later auction off.

Tough luck for Shkreli but I highly doubt that the Wu would be too upset about this.

I'm not a mind reader or anything, but when RZA told Bloomberg that, “The sale of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin was agreed upon in May, well before Martin Skhreli’s [sic] business practices came to light,” and added that "we decided to give a significant portion of the proceeds to charity," I'm pretty sure he really wanted to say, "f--k that guy."
