Just in time for holiday family photos, Hilary Duff sports a new, shorter hairdo. She teased fans on Saturday (Dec. 19) with a photo of her in the barber's chair with a pair of huge scissors waiting to strike. Now, the normally long-haired actress and singer joined the list of celebs rockin' shorter locks.

While her cut isn't as short as Kaley Cuoco, Emma Watson or Keke Palmer's, it's quite a change from what it's been lately.

Duff's usually had long, blonde locks — which she's always rocked — but seeing her chop them off is actually inspiring some fans to do the same, well sorta. "This almost made me want to cut my hair!," one person commented. "? it will probably take another 2 years to actually do it but yes!," said another.

One fan wrote, "Your gorgeous face can handle any chop! You look great," and we couldn't agree more. The former "Lizzie McGuire" star flawlessly pulls off the short 'n sassy style, and it's giving us major hair envy.

It's unclear if Duff's new hair is for the upcoming season of her TV Land show "Younger" or just because she wanted a new look, but either way it's super cute.

And speaking of things that are super cute, Duff's son Luca is the sheer definition of "adorable." No, seriously. This is one insanely charming human being.

BB Luca is three years old and already has the most gorgeous eyes you ever did see. "About to kisssssss this face right off????????????????," captioned Duff. And seriously, who could blame her? This little boy straight-up won the gene game.
