‘The Force Awakens’ Cast Gives Advice To Some Iconic ‘Star Wars’ Characters

Darth Vader needs some dating advice.

With reporting by Josh Horowitz

When you're living a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, it can be really tough to find solid advice for your problems. After all, the galaxy in "Star Wars" doesn't have a Dear Abby column you can write into, nor does it have social media on which to blast your requests for help. Unless you've got smart friends, a helpful droid to bounce ideas off of, or a wise old mentor following you around from beyond the grave like a ghost, you're basically on your own.

But you know who's actually pretty great at giving advice? The new cast of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," who sat down with MTV News to dispel some much needed wisdom to some of their intergalactic

Let's say, like Darth Vader, you find yourself unable to meet women after your wife dies giving birth to twins who are now try to topple your Empire. How do you get back in the saddle and meet some new ladies with which to complain about sand?

"Hop on Tinder," Daisy Ridley advised. "Because you can really filter those pictures, and no one has to hear your voice until you're on a date with them."

And what if you're a "Big Hairy Dude" who has anger problems, especially when you lose games of Holo-chess? "What about a haircut?" Asked Gwendoline Christie. "I mean, hair can be itchy -- certainly very warm, so this could be a temperature issue."

There you have it, folks. Maybe all Chewbacca needs to mellow out is a nice trim.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hits theaters December 18.
