Notorious B.I.G. With A 'Star Wars' Backdrop Is Outta This World
"Star Wars" is pretty much being plastered onto everything in the galaxy far far away right now because, in case you've been living under a (space) rock, the Force is about to awaken in less than two weeks and people are nerding the f--k out about it.
We've seen everything from an R2-D2 Mr. Potato Head to the shudder-inducing Furbacca to a Death Star-shaped waffle maker (!!) come along since "Episode VII" was announced and put a light saber straight through our hearts, but the bar has officially been raised with this collaboration of John Williams' "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope" score and Notorious B.I.G.'s second and final studio album, Life After Death.
Thanks to the Otaku Gang's Life After Death Star project, we now know for a fact that the Oscar- and Grammy-winning soundtrack pairs incredibly with the rapper's posthumously-released masterpiece, adding an all new beat layer that highlights Biggie's flow.
Now, THIS is what we call a space jam. The full, insane remix is available for streaming below.
