When Brothers Brawl: Will Tony And Shane Be Their Own 'Challenge' Undoing?

If 'Real World: Skeletons' was any indication, there's drama ahead.

As far as “The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines” is concerned, brotherly love isn't guaranteed.

On Wednesday night’s premiere episode -- and likely before most suitcases had been completely unpacked -- one of “Real Word”’s most recent exports, Tony, found himself in the center of a firestorm. After (allegedly) insulting Camila’s sister Larissa, Tony wound up in a screaming match with Nany’s cousin Nicole, who’d swooped in to defend her fellow newbie. Tony’s brother Shane tried to calm him down and urged him to back down. Instead, Tony projected his aggression at Shane and violently pinned his brother to the wall.

“All this is getting to him,” Shane confided in Nany after he and Tony were forcibly separated. “He’s never come at me like that.”

And while there was no subsequent conversation between the brothers, they seemed to agree to put the incident behind them.

“The relationship I have with my brother — he may do some stuff I don’t like, I may do some stuff he don’t like, but at the end of the day, family means a lot to us,” Tony said.

Still, some of Tony’s fellow competitors weren’t convinced he understood the gravity of his actions, which earned him a warning from TJ Lavin.

“Tony, he’s like a big, dumb dog that doesn’t understand what he’s saying and what he’s doing — what type of impact that’s going to have on him,” Johnny Bananas observed.

And history doesn’t look too favorably upon Tony either. While filming “Real World: Skeletons” in Chicago, he routinely found himself in the middle of huge arguments and once infamously stole a bottle of wine from a bar, which led to an absolute blowout with some of his housemates.

What do you think: Will Tony and Shane be able to tough things out and make it to the end of the game, or is their early battle just a taste of what’s to come, and are they doomed to be their own undoing? Tell us what you think, and be sure to tune in to the next “Bloodlines” episode Wednesday night at 10/9c!
