Taylor Swift's Latest Donation Showcases Her Cultured Side

Oooh, how fancy.

Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour has not only proven that the Swifty Squad is jam-to-the-packed, but it also showed that her musical palette is diverse, as she shared the stage with everyone from Alanis Morisette to Fetty Wap to Phoebe Buffay.

Pretty much everyone under the pop culture sun except Katy Perry has joined her crew at this point, so we shouldn't be too surprised to hear that she also has a ~sophisticated~ side that totally loves to hit the symphony.

So much so, in fact, that she reportedly forked over $50,000 to the Seattle Symphony because their Pulitzer Prize-winning song "Become Ocean," an environmentalism-evoking thought piece, got her attention.

Per The New York Times, Swift's donation will go to the symphony's educational program called "Link Up," which works with the city's elementary students, as well as support the musicians' retirement program.

Reportedly, it was Swift's nostalgia about attending the symphony with her grandmother that inspired her gift.

Note: Swift was also quite fond of the orchestral cover of "Bad Blood," and it's totally worth a timely re-visit.
