Here's our look at some of the coolest toy news of the past week -- and this week, there's been so much cool news that we've kept adding to this up to the last minute!  Let's get started!

"GREMLINS 2: THE NEW BATCH" WAS AN UNDERRATED MASTERPIECE, DAMMIT:  NECA has posted pics of a new super-sized Spider-Gremlin toy from "Gremlins 2" with more than 30 points of articulation, due out this fall!  This had BETTER come out in time for my Halloween party.  I need some new creepy toys to display.  "Need" is something of a subjective phrasing.

AS LONG AS HE DOESN'T COME WITH THAT STUPID "CODEX" THING I STILL HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT: Play Arts Kai has posted pics of new super-sweet "Man of Steel" Jor-El and Faora figures, which will let you recreate the devastation of the film with considerably less property damage!

BEHOLD...SOURCE HORSEMEN!: Toy Maestros the Four Horsemen have an all-new site where you can read about and order their many fine and awesome products.

STILL LESS NASTY THAN VADER: In their report on Nickelodeon's San Diego Comic-Con panels, the Hollywood Reporter revealed this super-sweet con-exclusive "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Shredder figure with chrome armor and a removable mask to reveal the scarred face of Oroko Saki.  Hey, did you know he was voiced by Uncle Phil from "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" in the 1980s cartoon, whose theme was co-written by "The Big Bang Theory" co-creator Chuck Lorre?  THE MORE YOU KNOW.

NOTE THE SMOOTHNESS OF THAT TRANSITION: ...speaking of "The Big Bang Theory" and Comic-Con Exclusives, Entertainment Earth has this Mego-Style Sheldon Cooper doll at the show for $25!  Yes, my friends are already bugging me to pick them up some.  I'm going to be carrying a lot of labeled white envelopes full of cash to this show, which is not something I should openly admit.

STILL MORE SDCC EXCLUSIVES, THESE FROM GENTLE GIANT: Gentle Giant has posted pics and info for their "Walking Dead" SDCC exclusives, Blue Prison Army Men and a Michonne Mini-Bust!

They've also posted an SDCC exclusive of Yak Face, the latest in their jumbo-sized "Star Wars" Kenner-style figures!

SWEET LORD, THEY'RE ADORABLE: DC Comics has teamed up with Hello Kitty for a new merchandise line.

You took this from Toyark.com. We're glad we can be your source for news.

And now for a portion of this roundup we like to call:

MAN, THERE SURE IS A LOT OF "MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE" NEWS THIS WEEK

-MattyCollector has posted info for its sale on 7/15, which features the new figures "New Adventures" He-Man,  Clamp Champ and Icer...though Clamp Champ is only available to "Club Eternia" subscribers.  Nutbunnies!

Icer, for y'all don't know, is the first in the "Club Filmation" series of figures featuring fan-demanded characters who only appeared on the "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" cartoon in the 1980s.  The character was pretty awesome, despite being stuck in a lame tale of a child palace guard with an obnoxious British accent who learns to take responsibility for his mistakes by seeing how everyone loves Orko, which is THE MOST WRONG LESSON EVER.  And what the hell was King Randor doing training 10-year-olds as soldiers?  Bygones.

There'll also be a chance to pick up several figures remaindered from previous months, including the super-sized Granamyr the Dragon, if you're willing to blow a Benjamin right before Comic-Con!  And for those who aren't into He-Man, there's Freddy Freeman and "Watchmen"'s Nite Owl available as well!

-Donald F. Glut, who wrote some of the initial minicomics that came with the He-Man action figures, has filed a lawsuit against Mattel regarding some of the elements of the mythology he created for those books.  This will be an interesting one.

-Our Friends at the Fwoosh have posted a preview of their super-awesome mass-fiction featuring the MOTU Classics toys from 2012.  I love these!  They have great posed photos, and the stories add so much characterization to the concepts.

-And finally: MattyCollector has a contest to win a "Club Eternia" subscription by "Grayskulling," or sending in a picture of yourself in the "I HAVE THE POWER!" pose.  I have already won with my picture of myself in my Power Glove.  DON'T EVEN TRY.   It works on SO MANY LEVELS!

Back to non-He-Man news...

IF ONLY HE HAD A BUTTON YOU COULD PUSH THAT MADE HIM POWER UP FOR LIKE 10 MINUTES STRAIGHT: S.H. Figuarts has posted pics of its new "Dragon Ball Z" Piccolo, which is pretty dang sweet.

THIS WAS *MY* DOCTOR, KEEP Y'ALL DAVID TENNANT AND MATT SMITH: Big Chief Studios has posted a pic of its new Tom Baker "Doctor Who" 1/6 scale figure.

AND FINALLY: Here's a process video of the design of a new DC Collectibles take on Lex Luthor in his power armor.  Even as a kid, I wondered: Doesn't that block his peripheral vision?
