Mattel's 'The Dark Knight Rises' Figures: Now With More Butler!

Toy Fair 2012: Mattel Shows off 'The Dark Knight Rises' Toys

UPDATE: Warner Bros. & Mattel have asked that the pictures from MattyCollector.com be removed.

During Toy Fair 2012, Mattel revealed a new line of Movie Master figures based on the upcoming "The Dark Knight Rises" film (You can watch the video above and check out our coverage here.) that each come with a piece to construct a working Bat Signal! The first three (Batman, Bane, and Catwoman) were shown, but there are 6 figures in the line. Who are the other 3 Bat-centric action figures the Four Horsemen sculpted to perfection? Well, Mattel just announced 2 of them, along with the new packaging for the line. Sadly, like most of their in-house reveals, the photos are miniscule; so, here's a big one we took of Bane at Toy Fair:

Squint your eyes and read on for all the info straight from Mattel on Alfred and Officer Blake:

Without a doubt, one of the biggest, most highly anticipated films for summer 2012 is The Dark Knight Rises. We revealed the first three characters for our 2012 The Dark Knight Rises Movie Masters® series at New York Toy Fair in February, and the buzz has been amazing! Along with the great sculpts for Batman™, Bane and Catwoman, everyone is talking about the Collect-and-Connect® projecting Batsignal.

Well, now it’s time to introduce two more figures in our 2012 line-up: Gotham City Police Department Blake and Alfred!

Hard-as-nails Officer Blake is a brand-new character to the Christopher Nolan trilogy, and we can't wait to bring him to life in our Movie Masters® series. And you know we're beyond stoked about Alfred! Fans (and us!) have been asking for him for years, and he's a big addition to the line.

Of course, new figures as awesome as these deserve new packaging, too. Check out what's in store for our 2012 Movie Masters® line…

Sweet, right? This packaging is so good, you'll be wondering “Should I open it?” . . . “Should I keep it in package?” . . . “Should I buy two?” Decisions, decisions!

So, an old man figure and a clean-cut police officer. Yeah, those'll be flying off shelves as children clamor for the sage advice of Micheal Caine over the martial-arts prowess of Batman! Still, we think they're gonna sell simply due to those much-needed Bat Signal components.

The 6th and final figure in the Movie Masters line will be revealed soon. Who will it be? Our money is on a pumped-up Bane! To find out for yourself when the announcement is made, be sure to check out the Matty Collector website and their official Facebook page!
