Travi$ Scott is quite guarded about his relationship with Rihanna. He's tried dodging questions and laughing them off, but are they dating? Are they friends? It's tough to know, exactly. However, today, Scott helped us understand their bond better by describing it in three words.

The words? "Creative," "inspiring" and "muse," according to the new Travi$ Scott cover story for Complex.

The issue also features an interesting note for those keeping tabs on TS and RiRi. At one point, the writer, Lawrence Schlossman, describes a (literally) touching moment where Scott's "kissing his right index and middle finger and then touching the low-res image of Rihanna’s face, caressing the [MacBook] screen, and glowing with pride."

The Complex article isn't just about Rihanna, though.

In it, Scott also addresses allegations of biting Future. "I saw some sh-t where on ‘Oh My Dis Side’ [somebody said] I got the melody from Future’s ‘Rich $ex,’ which is so weak and lame," he explained. "That’s one of my favorite songs, but my album was made before the Future album came out. Metro [Boomin] stayed at my crib for, like, nine months and made mad beats that made it onto Future’s album. I’m like, damn if only they knew."

Clearly, Scott can appreciate Future's work, too. Another rapper Travi$ celebrated in the piece is Kid Cudi. "Kid Cudi was my guy," he explained. "If I had no weed, he was my drug."

The story appears in the Dec. 2015-Jan. 2016 issue of the magazine. An alternate cover features Zendaya Coleman talking about her similarities with 2Pac and difference with Miley Cyrus.
