If you’re looking for the singular narrative that drove our list of the Best Artists of 2015, you won't find it on MTV News. This year saw dizzying comebacks (Bieber, Adele) and staggering breakthroughs (our #1 pick Fetty Wap, Tori Kelly). But there were also musical makeovers that reshuffled the charts -- from the Weeknd's pop-radio reinvention to One Direction's resurrection as a foursome. And we haven't even gotten to the rap renegades like Kendrick and Future, whose Dirty Sprite 2 had hard-core fans practically begging for refills.
To put it simply, this wasn't an easy list to pull together and we know you'll have your opinions on how we did (yep, that's chart-demolisher Adele at #7). So it's your turn now.
