The new poster premiered at Yahoo Movies, and features an unmasked Captain America looking as stern as ever, with his iconic red, white, and blue shield in the foreground. The new poster doesn't sport a tagline, and for some reason, it doesn't feature Captain America punching Adolf Hitler, either.

Nevertheless, it's a nice shot of Evans as Marvel's famous super-soldier, and likely heralds the arrival of the second trailer for the film, which is expected to debut in the next day or two.

"Captain America: The First Avenger" hits theaters July 22.
