'The Dark Knight Rises' Rumor Roundup: Shooting Schedule Revealed, Official Synopsis Coming Soon?

Well, you're in luck, because Batman On Film has reported (via an anonymous source) exactly that — complete with time frames and other details about the film's production schedule. Of course, since none of this information has come through official channels, it's still all rumors and there's no guarantee of its accuracy.

According to the site, the shooting in India is supposed to be short, though it didn’t give details on how short. Details were more specific on the U.S. shooting schedule in Pittsburgh, however, indicating that Christopher Nolan's third Batman film will be filmed over the course of about three weeks there.

“The Dark Knight Rises” will then go to the United Kingdom and New York for additional filming, the site reports, though most of the filming will actually happen in Los Angeles. It’s believed the work in Los Angeles will be studio and soundstage work.
