EXCLUSIVE: 'The Goon' Teaser Premiere, Plus David Fincher And Paul Giamatti At Comic-Con!

We're only a few days away from the Comic-Con kickoff in San Diego, and today brings not one but multiple big announcements for fans of Eric Powell's "The Goon" series and the long-awaited animated film based on the hit comic and produced by David Fincher.

First off, we have an exclusive 30-second teaser of "The Goon" footage created by Blur Studios that will debut during their Friday evening panel. Check it out:

Pretty great, right? Well, it gets even better, folks.

Anyone who can't make it to the panel will still be able to see the footage revealed during the event, as we're going to exclusively debut the full cut of the Comic-Con footage here on Splash Page right after the panel ends (at 7PM PST).

That doesn't mean you should skip out on the fun, though, as we're proud to officially announce that both David Fincher and Paul Giamatti, the voice of Frankie in the animated movie, will be in attendance at "The Goon" panel Friday evening. Fincher will then drop by MTV HQ for a chat about all things "Goon," so stay tuned!

Got a question for "The Goon" team? Want to see more of "The Goon" footage? Keep it locked to Splash Page throughout Comic-Con for more news, interviews, and footage from "The Goon."

"The Goon" panel at Comic-Con will start at 6 PM PST in Room 24ABC. Be there or suffer a "Knife to the eye!" you slackjaws!
