Paramount And Platinum Dunes Option 'Existence 2.0'

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miles Millar and Alfred Gough are attached to produce and adapt "Existence 2.0."

Millar and Goth are perhaps best known for developing and producing "Smallville" for the series' first seven seasons. Additionally, Millar and Gough have collaborated on "Spider-Man 2", "Shanghai Knights", "The Mummy: Tomb of The Dragon Emperor" and the "Aquaman" TV pilot.

Platinum Dunes — a production company created by Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller — is also producing the film with Dave Alpert from Circle of Confusion. "Existence 2.0." is something of a departure for Platinum Dunes, which is primarily known for horror films like the upcoming "Nightmare on Elm Street" remake.

Circle of Confusion has also been behind the deal that brought Robert Kirkman's "The Walking Dead" to AMC as a TV series. Alpert is also attached as a producer to an adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis' "Fire", which is set to star Zac Efron.
