The mysterious viral marketing campaign for "Iron Man 2" is at an end — for now at least — with the final result being the world premiere of the movie's first official trailer.

Unveiled this week, the "Iron Man 2" trailer provides our best glimpse yet at Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), War Machine (Don Cheadle), the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and more in the Jon Favreau-directed Marvel movie.

While today's earlier Entertainment Tonight teaser has already provided us with a healthy indicator of the movie's plot, there's truly nothing like seeing the real thing in all of its high-definition glory. Here are just a few of our favorite moments from the trailer:

- Tony's arrogant but awesome claim that he has "successfully privatized world peace" by becoming Iron Man.

- Mickey Rourke's horrifying Russian accent and overall presence as the vengeful (and well equipped) Whiplash, who apparently isn't very fond of race cars.

- Samuel L. Jackson's brief but clear return as S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury.

- The back-to-back combat partnership between Iron Man and War Machine as they repulsor ray and gatling gun their way through a serious firefight.

No matter which of the trailer's many epic moments you enjoyed the most, we can all agree on one thing — May 7, 2010 cannot come soon enough.
