The 11th Annual Gathering Of The Juggalos Infomercial: The Live Blog

Last year, the Insane Clown Posse took the Internet by storm when they released an informercial advertising the Gathering, the annual festival curated and hosted by Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J. In the year that followed, ICP stayed on the minds of Web surfers everywhere with their much-talked-about music video for "Miracles." Now the clowns are back with another infomercial advertising this year's Gathering (the 11th annual!), which will go down August 12-15 once again in Cave In Rock, Illinois.

The new commercial kicks it up a notch, presenting the lineup and features of this year's event with a new video that is 17 minutes long. So just in case you're not like us and totally willing to watch it over and over again, here's the breakdown of the highlights.

00:08 The narrator describes the Gathering as "the nation's only truly underground music festival, with no corporate sponsorship." The guys from the Disco Biscuits would would probably take umbrage with that fact.

00:44 Before any of the acts are introduced, one of the key aspects of the Gathering you'll love is "comradery (sic)."

00:48 Another big draw: "You'll probably get laid."

00:57 Like last year, our hosts are DJ Clay and Sugar Slam. This time around, they are joined by Awesome Dre, a rapper who clearly has a lot of trouble with the teleprompter.

01:07 The production level has really been kicked up a notch this year, as they've got a great gimmick where the three hosts are driving around in a Cadillac with a fairly convincing rear projection.

01:28 This year's Gathering is "an ode to the wild west," mostly because it will mark the premiere of ICP's movie "Big Money Rustlas."

01:44 Of course, Insane Clown Posse are the closing night headliners. Honestly, that show must end up being completely nuts.

02:35 Is it odd that I actually recognize some of these song clips from last year's infomercial? Apparently Blaze Ya Dead Homie isn't as prolific as the rest of the Psychopathic roster.

03:43 The Gathering always does manage to pull in a number of impressive, high-profile artists from outside of their label family. Ice Cube grabbed headlines at last year's show, and this time around, Naughty by Nature and Method Man and Redman are representing for non-Juggalos.

04:31 Awesome Dre can barely believe that Tom Green will be performing at the comedy tent. The clip they cut to is extremely odd, even for Green, as he only says, "First, a word from Vitamin Water." Are we just supposed to laugh at his beard?

04:48 Dre also assures us that the Gallagher appearing at the comedy tent is the real Gallagher and not "that fake-ass Gilligan motherf---er."

06:00 Because this year's Gathering is an ode to the wild west, ICP are bringing in Warren G and former Eazy-E proteges Above the Law (who are one of the most criminally underrated hip-hop duos of all time). If nothing else, ICP have a definite sense of history.

06:52 For the first time ever, there will be a ladies night, featuring Tila Tequila and Lil Kim.

07:19 Also appearing at ladies night? A rapper named Ill E. Gal. No, seriously.

07:29 If you're surprised that Sugar Slam went to high school with Tila Tequila, then you clearly don't know Sugar Slam.

08:01 Just so you know: Ladies' night isn't just for Juggalettes. It's for horny Juggalos too!

09:23 Our hosts lay out the philosophy of the Gathering: Because "ain't no two Juggalos alike," it's best to "have a little bit of everything."

10:00 "Shaggy's Old School Super Jam" sounds legitimately amazing, because it features Tone Loc, Rob Base and Slick Rick. There's an awful lot of legendary hip-hop at this show.

10:55 You'll never be bored at the Gathering, because (and I quote), there is "fresh and exciting s--- to do all around the f---ing clizzock." That includes midway games, carnival rides and the mysterious draw of "seminars."

11:26 Prozak is described as "the Alfred Hitchcock of hip-hop." So he directed "Vertigo"? He is branching out into television? He raps about MacGuffins?

11:39 "If you like midgets, we've got midgets for you."

12:20 Our hosts pick up a hitchhiker, and it turns out to be Juggalo Championship Wrestling champion Corporal Robinson. He looks like he slept under an overpass, though perhaps he's just a Method actor.

13:01 No lie, the list of wrestling talent is actually pretty impressive, including Terry Funk, Bryan Danielson, Booker T, Hurricane Helms and ... Todd Bridges?

13:35 Corporal Robinson declares that there are so many big names wrestling that he isn't even going to try to name them. Then he names about a dozen more. He also describes something called "flashlight wrestling," which is apparently wrestling in the dark save for flashlights in the audience, which sounds both boring and fantastically dangerous (especially considering the promise that some of the wrestlers will be drunk).

14:50 Apparently, Juggalos have been waiting for "Big Money Rustlas" for "over 10 years," which sort of makes it ICP's own Chinese Democracy.

16:40 "Big Money Rustlas" looks like a cross between "For a Few Dollars More," "Blazing Saddles" and "El Topo" (which, honestly, sounds kind of awesome).

17:23 The infomercial closes with a plea to get you to buy your tickets and join this year's Gathering, because "Juggalos are what makes it magic."

What do you think of this year's infomercial for the Gathering of the Juggalos? Let us know in the comments!
