Because Selena Gomez is a lady of many talents, it wasn't enough to show us her dark side in the critically-acclaimed (and just-released!) "Spring Breakers"; next month, she's also going to show off her skills as a songstress at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, in the first-ever performance of her new single, "Come & Get It."

"It's my first performance back as a musician. I'm so nervous!" she gushed, sharing her excitement at being back on stage. "I think it's really cool, because I got to take a year off of music and really be a part of great movies and work with great people, so I thought it would be perfect that I kind of go into music again through MTV and then the Movie Awards. So I thought it would be appropriate. I'm so stoked!"

And despite a busy schedule packed with projects, Selena went all-out in the studio when it came time to record her latest album.

"This is the hardest I've ever worked on any album I've ever done," she said. And like "Spring Breakers," her new music represents a big change from the usual. She explained, "I really wanted it to be a different level for me. So I think for the performance, I'm going to try to do things that nobody's ever really seen from me before and kind of take it to the next level. So hopefully I'll do a good job."
