Justin Timberlake On Ex Jessica Biel: 'She Is The Single-Handedly Most Significant Person In My Life'

Case in point: His recent interview with Vanity Fair, which hits newsstands nationwide on Tuesday, June 7. The star, who has two comedies opening in theaters this summer, "Bad Teacher" (with ex Cameron Diaz) and "Friends With Benefits" (with real-life pal Mila Kunis), talked candidly on just about everything—from showing his butt on the big screen to his breakups with Jessica Biel and Britney Spears, to his bad-boy behavior with fellow hottie Ryan Gosling on the set of "The All New Mickey Mouse Club"!

In fact, for many JT fans, the love affair with him started in those early days. But who could have guessed what a curly-haired scoundrel he was? Justin recalled to the mag, "It was exciting that we were having so much success and we could do whatever we wanted. And I mean that about everybody: Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Britney, Christina [Aguilera]. At that time, we could literally go, 'Oh, man, let’s go to Bali,’ and we’d be on a plane to Bali. We were little kids with big toys. You do the math—that’s not going to last. Ryan [Gosling] and I used to steal golf carts and go driving in the middle of the park to get milk shakes, and we never got in trouble for it. We thought we were big s---."

While Justin may not return to his "MMC" ways (though we would take no issue with him and Ryan palling around still), he may finally return to his singing days. For fans who have been anxiously awaiting his return to the music scene, they'll be relieved to know it could happen very soon.

"I wouldn’t say I'm not going to put out another [album]," he said, adding, "I would say that would be a bad bet, if you were betting. But I could see myself only doing one more big tour." Hey, we'll take it!

In the meantime, we'll still get to revel in his transition to movies. Now that he's already conquered the world of comedy and drama ("The Social Network"), JT will take on a new frontier: the nude frontier! Yes, in "Friends With Benefits," Justin not only does the deed on-screen with Mila, but he goes all the way with showing his buff bod.

But, fans had better soak it all in, as Justin doesn't think he'll be stripping down again any time soon. "It was fun, but I can’t say I’m going to be butt-naked in a movie again. I only did it because I’m young now, and everything’s where it’s supposed to be. I figured this is the time, before gravity gets the best of me," he joked.

While JT was lighthearted talking about his most recent roles, he was very serious when talking about his love life. Justin, who said celebs date each other so much because it feels like "refuge," opened up about his former flames, including, of course, Britney.

"I wish her the best—that goes without saying," he said of Brit, "We haven’t spoken in nine or 10 years. We were two birds of the same feather—small-town kids, doing the same thing. But then you become adults, and the way you were as kids doesn’t make any sense. I won’t speak on her, but at least for me, I was a totally different person. I just don’t think we were normal; there was nothing normal about our existence. We spent way too much time being the biggest thing for teenyboppers."

Justin also talked about his ex, Jessica Biel, whom he split with earlier this year. While he didn't say too much about the actress who he dated for years, what he did say spoke volumes about his feelings for her: "She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life. In my 30 years, she is the most special person, O.K.? … I don’t want to say much more, because I have to protect things that are dear to me—for instance, her."

Still, while he's staying tight-lipped about sharing too many details regarding the women he has loved, he isn't shy about talking about what his love life in the future may look like. As Justin told VF, "As little as six months ago I wouldn’t have even thought about that, but now it feels like a closer planet orbiting around. I think the mistake is that people commit to who that person is right then and not the person they’re going to become. That’s the art of staying together, is changing together. When you say it like that, it seems damn near impossible, right?"

Of course, for JT's fans, loving and evolving with him over the years, it is very much possible.
