Lady Gaga's Accceptance Speech, Cher's Outfit And More: Our Top 10 VMA Moments

1. Katy Perry's fingernails

This one was from the very beginning of the pre-show but, come on, when Sway asked Katy Perry where her hubby, Russell Brand, was and she flashed him her fingernails with Russell's face plastered on them? It doesn't get any more adorable than that.

2. Lindsay Lohan's cameo appearance

Chelsea Handler is beloved for the way she universally makes fun of everyone, but the best part of her intro was the surprise appearance by none other than Lindsay Lohan. "Are you drunk?" Lindsay asks Chelsea, a question the VMA host denied. "Then why is your ankle bracelet going off?" "Oh, that's for waiting for a table at the Cheesecake Factory," Chelsea replied. Lindsay captured her attention by replying, "Do you think anyone likes a drunk? Take it from me, they don't." We don't even know what happened after that because we were laughing too hard. Watch the moment again!

3. Lady Gaga's acceptance speech

Lady Gaga won plenty of awards last night, but the acceptance speech that struck us the most was for her Best Female Video Moonman. "Thank you so much. I love my fans so much. All my little monsters watching," she said, with tears in her eyes. "Tonight, little monsters, we're the cool kids at the party." Plus, her last line is a classic: "And thank you to all the gays for remaking this video over and over again."

4. Kim Kardashian loves Justin Bieber

Who other than Kim Kardashian should have introduced Justin Bieber's performance? Absolutely no one, is the answer, though she did it in such a fantastically awkward style that she made it onto our list. "Apparently in the eyes of the law, my admiration of Justin Bieber is creepy," she said, referencing their 13-year age difference. To introduce him, she added, "Here's the one you're waiting for, the one I'm waiting for, Justin Bieber!" Fortunately, he didn't return the flirtation on camera.

5. "The Social Network"'s sexy stars

Hop on the band wagon: "The Social Network" has some pretty beautiful men in it (keep your eyes out for Armie Hammer, because after meeting him Saturday, I'm telling you he's the one to watch). Justin Timberlake, Andrew Garfield and the happiest Jesse Eisenberg we've ever seen introduced Drake and Mary J. Blige's performance, and, even though JTims did most of the talking, they all wormed their way more into our hearts.

6. Joe Manganiello and Evan Rachel Wood

These two "True Blood" hotties' appearances in the VMA pre-show and main show sort of made up for the fact that we missed the "True Blood" finale to support MTV, and at least they put plenty of effort into it. Evan Rachel Wood teased during the pre-show that she was willing to help get the craziness started at the VMAs this year (which we could have used some more of) by saying to Joe Manganiello, "Maybe we'll bite someone. You bark, I'll bite." Joe's suggestion for the celebrity to go after: Lady Gaga. Plus, while not being the most exciting VMA presenters, they sure were two of the prettiest.

7. Gucci Guilty commercial

Holy hotness, you all saw the new Gucci Guilty commercial that exclusively premiered during the VMAs, right? Talk about some sexual chemistry between Chris Evans and Evan Rachel Woods! Now if only we could see some more of that in a longer commercial...or maybe even a feature-length film, we would be some happy campers.

8. Chelsea Handler and that hot tub

Of course the "Jersey Shore" cast was represented at the VMAs, but they couldn't have done it any more fabulously than by sitting in a hot tub on stage, trying to get Chelsea Handler to climb in with them. She resisted until Snooki called her out in her typical classy fashion. But the best part was when Chelsea climbed out of the hot tub with a fake pregnant belly strapped around her waist.

9. Cher. Just Cher

Yes, that quick clip of "Burlesque" was fantastic, but what was even more fantastic was Cher when she walked out on the stage to present Lady Gaga with her final Moonman of the night for Video of the Year. At 64 years old, Cher totally rocked the same "Turn Back Time" outfit she was famous for in the 1980s. Also, how fitting was it for Cher to present Gaga with the award? Entirely, in our eyes!

10. Aziz Ansari

Blah blah blah, Taylor Swift. Blah blah blah, Kanye West. What everyone should be talking about is Aziz Ansari's hilarious introduction for Kanye's performance, in which he pretended to be on the phone with Ronnie from "Jersey Shore," learning about what Kanye did to Taylor last year. When he "heard," Aziz started laughing uncontrollably to a silent audience, and then said, "Well I don't know what everyone's so mad about! That sounds hilarious!" After the awkward rehashing of last year's drama at yesterday's awards show, we couldn't quite remember either.
