Carrie Underwood On Taping Her 'How I Met Your Mother' Cameo: 'I Had A Blast'

Carrie Underwood is getting excited for her upcoming role in "How I Met Your Mother," and she recently took to her blog to write about her first-ever acting debut. Carrie, who will play a pharmaceutical sales rep and love interest for Ted (Josh Radnor), will appear in an episode set to air in March. She wrote, "I’m giving up the music business and I’m going to become a professional sitcom actress! Just kidding, of course, but I did have a blast while I was there!”

Besides having a wonderful experience with the cast and crew in LA, Carrie said they “made me feel right at home and were super patient and great with me and my lack of experience!” She went on to blog, “I got to hang out with the whole cast, dress up like a flight attendant, play a cavewoman and had a baby pig poop on me…that’s right…jealous? I’m just glad I grew up on a farm because I think I was the only one who knew how to hold and wasn’t afraid of a little piglet!”

We’re still not quite sure what’s in store for the episode. Will Carrie be the Mother? Or will her costar, Rachel Bilson take on the role? We don’t know much, but Neil Patrick Harris did tweet the above photo of the two on set with the caption: "This week's awesome guest star: http://yfrog.com/1dmarrj HIMYM - You'll Love The Way We Fly!” Carrie's in what appears to be a flight attendant uniform. Are you as lost as we are? Guess we’ll have to wait until March to find out!
