'Gossip Girl' Star Taylor Momsen Tells 'Seventeen' She Has No Desire To Be A 'Party Girl' Like Lindsay Lohan

"Gossip Girl" star Taylor Momsen graces the cover of the new Seventeen magazine this month, looking like her typical rockstar and radiant self. In the issue Taylor dishes about her style, her inspirations, and what it is that truly makes her happy -- and here’s a hint, it’s definitely not the glamorous life she leads on the Upper East Side!

There is no doubt that Taylor's sense of style is unique. But what are her favorite accessories? She tells the mag, "I always have on a little vintage crystal circle necklace, a bunch of bracelets that I wear all the time, my two pinkie rings, and I'm always wearing hoops in my ears — those never come out."

Also among her favorite things to wear are pieces that don't fit like a glove. "I like to wear a lot of baggy things. Like, I buy guys' clothes, like T-shirts, and I cut them up and wear them loose, but my blazers have to be really fitted. I also like layering things and really short skirts — or showing off my legs." (Those legs, by the way, are not always an asset though. She says they make her a total klutz. "I mean, I'm like Bambi. I fall all over myself because I can't control my arms and my really long legs.")

Though Taylor’s acting career is ablaze, she admits that being involved in the music industry is her "sweet escape." "It's like the phrase 'Money doesn't buy you happiness,' because it doesn't. Everyone finds it in their own way, and I'm really lucky that I found music early, you know? But, I think in a way that's because of the life that I've lived so far — I was forced."

Thus far, Taylor has shunned the typical "rockstar lifestyle," though. "I love working. I'm a workaholic, and no one believes it. I'm in the recording studio until three in the morning. I get such a rap for being like Lindsay Lohan -- and I hate naming names because she's really sweet -- and I'm really not. I don't go out. I have no desire to be some tabloid party girl. I'm entirely a loner. I have been my entire life."

Apparently being a loner means avoiding boys, too. "I'm not interested in playing the field and all that stuff because frankly I'm not into frivolous relationships," she told the magazine about her love life. "I've got a couple close relationships with friends, a close relationship with my family, and a close relationship with my guitar. I'll know if the right person comes along, and whatever then — cool — but it's not something I'm seeking out at the moment."
