On August 8, Chace and Ashley, who found herself in a nude photo scandal on Monday, were snapped (the picture can be seen on Just Jared) looking smiling. Both clad in white, the picture -- taken during J.C.'s party at The Continental bar in L.A. -- also features Chace holding onto Ashley.

According to In Touch, “They were hooking up a year ago, and Chace always liked her." The magazine's adds that at the party "they were all over each other.” Sure they were kissing at the airport and cuddling at a party, but the pair was also caught by MTV News at the Teen Choice Awards red carpet flirting with each other.

There are also reports that they have been spotted hanging around each other "quite often" (which may allude to J.C.'s party) even though, up until now, no one's suspected that they're anything more than "good friends."
