Jennifer Lawrence's Post-'Hunger Games' Move? Directing

We're deliriously excited about this.

Jennifer Lawrence is quietly establishing herself as a legit Hollywood multi-hyphenate, what with co-writing a comedy script with Amy Schumer and, now, signing on to direct her first movie.

Entertainment Weekly reports that J.Law plans to step behind the lens for a movie called "Project Delirium," based on a New Yorker article about a U.S. soldier who headed up a Cold War era experimental facility testing potential mental warfare options of using hallucinogens on soldiers.

J.Law describes it as "an acid experiment gone terribly wrong," and explained that she's basically been ready to take a seat in the director's chair since she joined the biz as a BB who starred in a "My Super Sweet 16" commercial.

"I've wanted to direct since I was 16 and always thought I should start making steps towards that," J.Law said. "If I had tried to do it earlier, I wouldn't have been ready. Now I actually feel ready."

Perhaps her much-fussed Instagram short with Chris Pratt and Aziz Ansari gave her the nudge she needed? Kidding (well, mostly).
