'ASOS' Cover Girl Elle Fanning Does Not Wash Her Hair

Elle Fanning, professional cool girl and part-time actress, is on, like, five magazine covers this month, and every time a new one comes out, the whole wide world—or the whole MTV Style HQ, at least—becomes even more obsessed with her. Somehow, the 16-year-old manages to be consistently refreshing and funny and awesome and juuuust the kind of girl you want be/be best friends with. A rarity in general, but especially among child stars. (No offense, child stars, but you know it's true.)

On ASOS's just-dropped July cover, Elle is sticking her tongue out while being generally adorable and wearing a sweet Les Prairies de Paris playing card tank. But it gets even better: In the behind-the-scenes video from the cover shoot, she grins and giggles her way through answering a bunch of spitfire questions on important world issues like skinny jeans vs. mom jeans (you can probably guess where our girl Elle falls on that dividing belief) while decked out in a cat print sweatshirt. The thing is, the more you find out about her, the more you'll be like, "OMG SHE'S MY SPIRIT ANIMAL, CAN WE HANG OUT IMMEDIATELY AND EAT ICE CREAM CONES AND BOND OVER KITTENS?"
I'm not going to summarize the video for you, because it's super short, and you should watch the whole thing, because it's a work of art. But I will go ahead and tell you the best part, or at least the best part aside from the fact that she's wearing a Little Mermaid sweatshirt.
Like me and you, real-life Disney Princess Elle Fanning does not wash her hair. She so doesn't wash her hair that she's often able to wear her hair in a bun without an elastic, which fellow anti-hairwashers (not sorry!) know is the ultimate holy grail goal when it comes to unwashed hair. (Related: Remember that time Lorde told us she only washes her hair every two weeks? Great minds, guys!) Now, forreal when can we hang out?
